What to wear to your photo shoot
Not unlike the location for the session, the choice of outfits is also most often a challenge for the families and couples I photograph.
So I share with you three tips that will help you decide which outfit(s) to bring to your photo shoot.
1. choose pieces that make you comfortable.
What's the point of wearing a short dress, a very open neckline, or high shoes if you're going to be uncomfortable afterwards and more focused on adjusting your clothes than on your interactions with your children or your partner? By this I don't mean that you shouldn't wear these pieces, there is nothing wrong with them. What I really want is for you to choose pieces that make you comfortable.
2. Choose clothes that you like to see on you and that make you feel confident.
Don't choose pieces just because you saw someone else wearing something similar. You are unique! What has worked for other people may not work for you, and vice versa.
3. Wears clothes with neutral tones and few or no patterns.
Neutral tones and few or, preferably, no patterns help direct the attention of the photos towards you, your moments, and your emotions. On the other hand, if you use loud colors or very strong patterns, as well as clothes with very large brand logos, the eye will always run away from what you are wearing.
The most important thing is how you feel! If you're undecided between that long white or blue dress... take both!
Now that you know these precious tips, let's book your family, couple or solo photo session, know all about it here.
